October in NYC is packed with fun Halloween events. Check out the upcoming roster of scares and make this season your spookiest yet.

Halloween Events for a Shriek-Worthy October

All these events are a great way to enjoy October.

Village Halloween Parade NYC

The 44th Annual Village Halloween Parade is a huge event where a parade of creative and curiously costumed folks show off their stuff. There’s also live music, gigantic puppets, dancers, and more. Dress up and join the march, or line the streets to watch the spectacle.

Merchant’s House Museum Events

This lavish, historic home built in 1832 showcases the grand collection of the Tredwells, the wealthy merchant family who lived there from 1835 to 1933. It’s also reportedly haunted.

During October, the museum is hosting “spirited” events – check out a Victorian funeral reenactment, try a Candlelight Ghost Tour, or visit on Halloween for “Tales from the Crypt.”

Visit a Haunted Locale

For a truly spooky experience, you can visit one of NYC’s many haunted locales. For instance, tour the historic Morris-Jumel Mansion, where the likes of George Washington and Aaron Burr have quartered – and see if you spy any resident ghosts.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze

It’s pumpkins like you’ve never seen them before at the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. Carved, glowing pumpkins light up the night in a spectacular display that includes a pumpkin carousel, a planetarium, and more.

If you’ll be joining the fun for Halloween, NYC is ready to welcome you. Book your stay with us at The Manhattan Club, the perfect place to take it all in.
